Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to install a fit over Redi Cuts®. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE LOOSE PIECES ONLY
To use this method, the broken mirror must be present and should remain in the mirror housing. Only remove loose or protruding pieces with a putty knife or screwdriver.
Step 2: CLEAN
For proper adhesion, make sure surfaces are clean and free of dirt or debris.
Step 3: ALIGN
Dry fit (test fit) mirror replacement by placing over existing broken mirror to check proper fit. Be sure to align signal icons, if applicable.
Step 4: APPLY ADHESIVE
Apply Burco Redi Stick™ adhesive patches to the broken mirror or mirror replacement. Use care not to cover signal icons, if applicable. TIP: Install in a warm/dry environment.
TIP: In addition to adhesive patches, you may supplement silicone or urethane.
Step 5: INSTALL REDI CUTS®
Align and press mirror replacement to the broken mirror with firm yet gentle pressure. Make sure to align signal etching, if applicable.
Step 6: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed Redi Cuts® mirror replacement with glass cleaner.
Tools Needed For Installation
The majority of these tools will be needed to install your Burco Redi Cuts® mirror replacement.
PUTTY KNIFE

Use a 1.25" or 1.5" metal putty knife to remove loose or protruding glass pieces.
FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER

A flat head screwdriver can assist with prying out loose or protruding glass pieces.
SCISSORS

Scissors can be used to cut or modify Redi-Stick™ adhesive patches.
TOWEL

Use a towel so prying does not scratch paint. Can also be used for clean up.
SILICONE OR URETHANE

Silicone or urethanes may be used to supplement adhesive patches.
RUBBING ALCOHOL

Rubbing alcohol can be used to prep surfaces for proper adhesion.
GLASS CLEANER

Use glass cleaner to prep surfaces for installation. Distributor exclusive Window Glo™ is recommended for use by glass professionals only.

Step By Step Instructions
Remove broken glass to install your heated Redi Cuts®.
Step 1: REMOVE ALL BROKEN GLASS
Remove all existing broken glass and adhesive from the mirror's plastic frame and backing plate with a putty knife. Disconnect heating wires from the old heating element.
Step 2: CLEAN & TEST FIT
Thoroughly clean backing plate with rubbing alcohol. Clean mirror with glass cleaner. Test fit your Redi Cuts® before to proceeding to the next step.
Step 3: APPLY ADHESIVE
Apply Burco® Redi Stick adhesive patches directly to Redi Cuts®. If adhesive patches are not provided, use adhesive on your heating element to install. Paper backing must be removed to expose adhesive.
TIP: Install in a warm/dry environment.
TIP: In addition to provided adhesive, you may supplement silicone or urethane.
Step 4: RECONNECT WIRES
Reconnect your heating wires to Redi Cuts® terminal leads.
Step 5: INSTALL REDI CUTS®
Align and press your heated Redi Cuts® to the backing plate with firm yet gentle pressure.
Step 6: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed heated Redi Cuts® mirror replacement with glass cleaner.

Install a gasket fit Redi Cuts®.

Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to install a gasket fit Redi Cuts®. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE ALL BROKEN GLASS
Remove the broken glass and gasket from the mirror head with a small screwdriver or fiber stick. You may have to remove a framing screw.
Step 2: CLEAN GASKET
If possible, use your existing gasket. Remove broken glass from the gasket and clean with glass cleaner.
Step 3: INSTALL GASKET
Install the gasket around the mirror. Be sure that the front of the mirror is facing out.
TIP: Burco part number can be read from the front.
Step 4: PREP GASKET
Lubricate the edge of the gasket with silicone or urethane for ease of installation into the mirror frame.
Step 5: INSTALL REDI CUTS®
With the gasket installed on your Redi Cuts®, gently tap the gasket edges into the mirror head with a rubber mallet.
TIP: Tap the gasket edges, not the mirror, to reduce the risk of breakage.
Step 6: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed Redi Cuts® mirror replacement with glass cleaner.

Snap tab backing plate removal.

Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to remove a snap tab backing plate and mirror from your mirror head. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE MIRROR & BACKING PLATE
Manually pivot mirror downward by applying pressure to the lower portion of your mirror. Insert a screwdriver above mirror behind backing plate and carefully pry off backing plate snap tabs from the motor head.
TIP: Place a towel on edge of mirror head when prying off backing plate to prevent damage or scratching.
Step 2: DETACH WIRES
If your mirror is a heated variant, disconnect wires from your mirror’s heating element. If applicable, auto dimming wires may have to be disconnected or clipped and capped.
NOTE: Burco® mirror replacements do not auto dim.
Step 3: RECONNECT WIRES & TEST
If your mirror is a heated/signal variant, reconnect heating wires to Redi-Set-Go™ mirror's terminal leads. Test functionalities before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4: INSTALL REDI-SET-GO™
Align motor mount snap tabs with motor. Apply gentle even pressure until motor mount snaps onto motor head.
Step 5: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed Redi-Set-Go® mirror replacement with glass cleaner.

Slide tab backing plate removal.

Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to remove a slide tab backing plate and mirror from your mirror head. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE MIRROR & BACKING PLATE
Insert a screwdriver below your mirror and carefully slide tab locks off of tab lock guides by lifting/prying upward.
Tip: Lift/pry upward. Do not pry outward.
TIP: Place a towel on edge of mirror head when prying up to prevent damage or scratching.
Step 2: DETACH WIRES
If your mirror is a heated variant, disconnect wires from your mirror’s heating element. If applicable, auto dimming wires may have to be disconnected or clipped and capped.
NOTE: Burco® mirror replacements do not auto dim.
Step 3: RECONNECT WIRES & TEST
If your mirror is a heated or signal variant, reconnect heating wires to Redi-Set-Go™ mirror's terminal leads. Test functionalities before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4: INSTALL REDI-SET-GO™
Vertically align your Redi-Set-Go™ mirror replacement toward the top of the mirror head. Apply gentle downward pressure and slide tab locks onto tab lock guides.
TIP: For more clearance, pivot motor head downward.
Step 5: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed Redi-Set-Go® mirror replacement with glass cleaner.
Tools Needed For Installation
The majority of these tools will be needed to remove your mirror and backing plate from the mirror head/actuator.
FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER

A flat head screwdriver or a small pry bar is needed to slide mirror tab locks upward off of the motor tab guides.

Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to remove a upper hook lock backing plate and mirror from your mirror head. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE MIRROR & BACKING PLATE
Manually pivot mirror and backing plate upward by applying pressure on the upper portion of your mirror. Insert a screwdriver below your mirror and backing plate and carefully pry lower snap locks off the snap lock guides. Insert upper hook locks into the hook lock guides. Next, apply gentle pressure and snap lower snap locks into snap lock guides.
TIP: Be sure upper hook locks are fully seated before snapping lower snap locks into place.
Step 5: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed Redi-Set-Go™ mirror replacement with glass cleaner.

Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to remove a lower hook lock backing plate and mirror from your mirror head. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE MIRROR & BACKING PLATE
Manually pivot mirror and backing plate downward by applying pressure to the lower portion of your mirror. Insert a screwdriver above your mirror and backing plate and carefully pry upper snap locks out of the snap lock guides. After the upper snap locks pop off, pull up/out to release lower hook locks from the hook lock guides.

Ball pivot backing plate removal

Step By Step Instructions
Follow these steps to remove a ball pivot backing plate and mirror from your mirror head. Vehicle and glass parts are fragile. Install with care.
Step 1: REMOVE MIRROR & BACKING PLATE
Manually pivot mirror by applying pressure to the lower and side portions of your mirror. Insert a screwdriver behind backing plate and carefully pry off all pivots from their sockets using care not to damage the pins.
TIP: Place a towel on edge of mirror head when prying off pivots to prevent damage or scratching.
Step 2: DETACH WIRES
If your mirror is a heated variant, disconnect wires from your mirror's heating element. If applicable, auto dimming wires may have to be disconnected or clipped and capped.
NOTE: Burco® mirror replacements do not auto dim.
Step 3: RECONNECT WIRES & TEST
If your mirror is a heated or signal variant, reconnect heating wires to Redi-Set-Go™ mirror's terminal leads. Test functionalities before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4: RELOCATE ACTUATOR PIVOT PINS TO REDI-SET-GO™
Twist each actuator pivot pin counter clockwise to remove them from the motor head. Snap each actuator pivot pin into its corresponding socket on your Redi-Set-Go™ mirror ensuring that each pin's tabs are properly aligned with the vertical and horizontal socket cutouts.
Step 5: INSTALL REDI-SET-GO™
With the actuator pins set in Redi-Set-Go™ sockets, place Redi-Set-Go™ into the mirror head while setting each pin into its original location. Once actuator pivot pins are set in place, snap main ball pivot into main socket by applying gentle, even pressure to the center of your Redi-Set-Go™ mirror.
Step 6: CLEAN UP
To test mobility, tilt mirror side/side & up/down. Clean your installed Redi-Set-Go™ mirror with glass cleaner.
